After 22 holiday seasons working with women who all want their best skin during the holidays for pictures, parties & seeing family/friends, it never fails: every single year, so many of them are bummed they waited too long to start their change-making protocols. I know you already know, but at our ages, and how fast collagen production starts to dip in the mid 30s, early 40s, & beyond, waiting until next year tends to mean more "work" is needed then to achieve the same results as if you'd been doing little things all along the way.
